Le Lead des Systèmes d'Information est le rĂ©fĂ©rent technique de l'ensemble du Système d'Information d'AEIG. Son rĂ´le : concevoir, dĂ©ployer et maintenir une infrastructure robuste, sĂ©curisĂ©e et scalable pour accompagner la croissance multi-campus (Cotonou, Abidjan, et futurs sites).

Principales Missions 

Infrastructure & Réseaux

  • Concevoir, dĂ©ployer et administrer l'infrastructure on-premise et cloud (serveurs, virtualisation, stockage, rĂ©seau LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi) ;
  • Assurer la haute disponibilitĂ©, la performance et la sĂ©curitĂ© des systèmes (firewalls, VPN, segmentation rĂ©seau, monitoring) ;
  • GĂ©rer l'infrastructure rĂ©seau des campus actuels et accompagner l'ouverture des nouveaux sites (Abidjan, etc.) ;
  • Piloter les environnements cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) et optimiser les coĂ»ts ;
  • Mettre en place et maintenir les outils de supervision et d'alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix…).

Hébergement & Plateformes internes

  • HĂ©berger, dĂ©ployer et maintenir les applications et plateformes internes (LMS, CRM, outils pĂ©dagogiques, intranet) ;
  • Mettre en place des pipelines CI/CD pour automatiser les dĂ©ploiements
  • Conteneuriser les applications (Docker) et orchestrer les environnements (Kubernetes ou alternatives) ;
  •  ImplĂ©menter l'Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible) pour garantir reproductibilitĂ© et scalabilitĂ© ;
  • Collaborer Ă©troitement avec la direction sur les projets stratĂ©giques : labs spĂ©cialisĂ©s (IA Sandbox, CyberLab, Cloud Lab), environnements de formation, plateformes innovantes.

Support & Maintien en condition opérationnelle

  • Organiser le support utilisateurs (staff, Ă©tudiants, Ă©vĂ©nements) et garantir un service rĂ©actif ;
  • Superviser la maintenance prĂ©ventive et corrective du parc informatique ;
  • GĂ©rer les licences, abonnements cloud et relations fournisseurs ;
  • Documenter les procĂ©dures, architectures et runbooks.

Management & coordination

  • Encadrer, former et faire monter en compĂ©tences une Ă©quipe de profils juniors/alternants
  • Coordonner les prestataires externes et partenaires technologiques ;
  • Assurer un reporting rĂ©gulier au Manager des OpĂ©rations sur l'avancement des projets, les incidents et les arbitrages.

Formation

•         Bac+5 en Informatique, Systèmes & RĂ©seaux, ou Ă©quivalent.   

Certifications appréciées

  • AWS Solutions Architect / Azure Administrator / GCP Associate ;
  • CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) ;
  • RHCSA / RHCE ou Ă©quivalent Linux ;
  • CCNA / CCNP ;
  • CompTIA Security+ / CISSP (apprĂ©ciĂ©).

Expériences professionnelles

  • Minimum 3 Ă  5 ans d'expĂ©rience en administration systèmes/rĂ©seaux, DevOps ou ingĂ©nierie infrastructure.
  • Une expĂ©rience en startup, scale-up ou environnement Ă  forte croissance est un vrai plus.

Compétences techniques requises

  • Systèmes : Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS), administration serveurs, virtualisation (Proxmox, VMware) ;
  • RĂ©seaux : TCP/IP, VLAN, firewalls (pfSense, OPNsense), VPN, Wi-Fi entreprise ;
  • Cloud : AWS, Azure ou GCP (dĂ©ploiement, gestion des coĂ»ts, services managĂ©s) ;
  • SĂ©curitĂ© : Hardening, gestion des accès, certificats SSL/TLS, bonnes pratiques cybersĂ©curitĂ© ;

Position Overview

The Information Systems Lead serves as the technical authority for AEIG's entire Information System. The role is responsible for designing, deploying, securing, and maintaining a robust, scalable, and high-performing IT infrastructure that supports AEIG's multi-campus growth across Benin, CĂ´te d'Ivoire, and future locations.

Working at the intersection of infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, DevOps, and IT operations, the Information Systems Lead ensures business continuity while driving the evolution of the Group's technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. Infrastructure & Network Management

  • Design, deploy, and administer both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, storage, LAN/WAN, and enterprise Wi-Fi networks.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security through firewalls, VPNs, network segmentation, monitoring, and security best practices.
  • Manage the network infrastructure of existing campuses while supporting the deployment of new campuses, including Abidjan and future locations.
  • Administer cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform) while optimizing cloud costs.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, or equivalent platforms.

2. Hosting & Internal Platforms

  • Host, deploy, and maintain internal applications and platforms, including the Learning Management System (LMS), CRM, educational tools, and the corporate intranet.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments.
  • Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate environments with Kubernetes or equivalent technologies.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools to ensure scalability and reproducibility.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership on strategic technology initiatives, including AI Sandbox, CyberLab, Cloud Lab, training environments, and other innovative platforms.

3. IT Support & Operations

  • Organize and oversee IT support services for staff, students, and institutional events while ensuring high service quality.
  • Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of IT infrastructure and hardware.
  • Manage software licenses, cloud subscriptions, and vendor relationships.
  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including procedures, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks.

4. Leadership & Coordination

  • Mentor, train, and support the development of junior engineers, interns, and apprentices.
  • Coordinate external service providers and technology partners.
  • Provide regular reports to the Operations Manager regarding project progress, incidents, risks, and technical decisions.

Candidate Profile

Education

Master's degree (or equivalent) in:

  • Computer Science
  • Information Systems
  • Network Engineering
  • Infrastructure Engineering
  • or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Solutions Architect
  • Microsoft Azure Administrator
  • Google Cloud Associate
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • RHCSA / RHCE or equivalent Linux certification
  • Cisco CCNA / CCNP
  • CompTIA Security+ or CISSP (preferred)

Professional Experience

The ideal candidate has:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in systems administration, network engineering, infrastructure engineering, or DevOps.
  • Previous experience in a startup, scale-up, or fast-growing organization is a strong advantage.

Required Technical Skills

Infrastructure & Systems

  • Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS).
  • Server administration and virtualization (Proxmox, VMware).
  • Enterprise networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, enterprise Wi-Fi).
  • Firewalls such as pfSense or OPNsense.
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Infrastructure security, hardening, identity and access management, SSL/TLS certificates, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Monitoring solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, ELK Stack, or equivalent.

DevOps & Automation

  • Docker (required).
  • Kubernetes or Docker Swarm (preferred).
  • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent).
  • CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Scripting using Bash and Python.
  • Strong proficiency with Git version control.

  • Basic software development knowledge to facilitate collaboration with development teams.

Working Environment

The Information Systems Lead reports directly to the Operations Manager.

The role works closely with the Information Systems team and collaborates with all business units to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable technology services across the organization.
